Nemanja Matic has challenged Paul Pogba to 'take more responsibility' at Manchester United so as to fulfil his potential.
The French midfielder has had an indifferent season and has been linked with a move away from the club after an apparent feud with manager Jose Mourinho but Matic believes Pogba's outstanding, two-goal display in the Manchester derby has set the bar for the kind of level he needs to maintain.
“It's exactly what he has to do,' said the Serbia midfielder.
“With his quality and personality, he needs to have more confidence. He needs to take more responsibility.
“Of course, he's still young. He can improve and he will improve. He showed in that game he always can play better.
“He is a great player. He runs a lot, has quality with the ball, he can score and he can also defend very well.”
Asked if he would ever colour his hair, he replied: “No, I have kids. If I do that, my son is going to do the same. I have to have serious hair like Gary Neville!”
